]]> This month of May sees the transition of the village from a winter skiing resort to a summer biking hot spot. You can still enjoy spring skiing on Blackcomb Mountain until May 27th, where as Whistler Mountain is now closed to skiers and makes its shift into the summer by opening its bike park on May 17th.

To welcome this transition Whistler is hosting its annual Crud to Mud Competition. This unique event combines the two season’s sports, skiing or boarding/biking, into one must see down hill race on May 26th.

But if the sporting events don’t take you fancy then there is plenty of other goings on in the village. Dine In Whistler allows you to experience finer dining at a discount! From May 1st – 16th get your taste buds going with three course meals ranging from $21 – $41 at a wide range of restaurants. Or enjoy a night of interactive story telling with the Dufflebag Theatre, showing on May 4th. This dynamic group will share with you some classic fairy tales and Shakespearean stories but with a very special twist to them.

]]> It already feels like Christmas here in Whistler and we have one last gift to open. Symphony opens tomorrow! This means that Whistler Blackcomb terrain is 100% open (pending conditions and weather) and offers more skiable terrain than any other ski resort in North America. The spirit of Whistler feels stronger then the holiday spirit as we watched 103cm blanket the mountains in the last seven days. Skier’s and riders could not make a bad turn on the mountains in the last 24 hours!
Aside from the amazing ski conditions, the village has a beautiful glow as it is filled with colourful lights and people celebrating the season. Now is the perfect time to come to Whistler and get some! Check out our great Whistler specials!
